I just read your account of the ride, and other than the “sludge bath”, it looked like a lot of fun.

The leaves covering everything did make it interesting.

I can’t believe you guys did Oriole West. I’ve ridden that trail — but that was on a mountain bike, in full mountain-biking mode. Very impressed that you managed to ride it on roadish/touring bikes.

I have that map, and it is indeed quite useful. I was going to bring it, in fact.
